"AAMBAR" GARDEN COTTAGE

The Garden Cottage at the heart of our unique organic botanical forest garden is also referred to as the 'Aambar' in appreciative memory of former days when it served as the attic of our family house, consequently becoming a chicken den, and finally a den for rabbits.
Today, it is a short-term self-catering rental unit - a cityscape with the charm of a countryside retreat, best suited for a creative break, a romantic escape, a short business trip, or simply a home away from home.
With its 56 m2 evenly distributed between the indoor and outdoor areas, the Garden Cottage comfortably sleeps two to three adults. It consists of a living area with kitchen corner, a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a front and back yard.
The spacious living area with its functional kitchen corner is conveniently furnished with two settees and a coffee table, a sofa bed, that can accommodate an additional adult, a dining table and two chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge and a gas stove to ensure your autonomy and further your daily well-being.
The charming bedroom receives lots of morning sunlight, offering a lovely green view out of the window onto a lemon tree, papaya trees, and various other green plants. It is equipped with a double bed and its two nightstands, a wooden valet stand, a single chair, a chest of drawers, and a clothing rack. The small en-suite bathroom with shower ensures your privacy and comfort.
Shaded by a fragrant pergola, the front yard, which is furnished with a wrap around stone-bench and a table and armchair made of raw Lebanese juniper wood, provides a private outdoor area for unwinding and relaxation during at least 8 months of the year. For a more intense feeling of the garden, you could choose to sit in the cute little backyard.
The cottage has an attractive green roof that serves as an efficient insulator. Together with its three windows, this cottage offers an agreeable climate in the interior all day long throughout the year. Two wall fans bring additional comfort in the hottest months of the year. Heating is available in winter.
As you wake up to the lovely birdsong and enjoy the natural smells of the garden, you could prepare a delicious breakfast with products and produce from our farm. Choose from among the fresh free-range organic eggs, various seasonal organic fruits and vegetables, homemade jams and jellies, honey etc.
