"Gardens flourish in times of peace and societal well-being.
Gardens can also contribute to peace building.
It is to be hoped that regional botanical gardens will contribute in time
to public space for leisure interaction as well as fostering
environmental consciousness and greater appreciation
of gardening and conservation of endemic plants."

Journey of Exploration
THE GARDENS
A seasonal stroll through our gardens promises to be fascinating for the eyes, fragrant for the nose, and soothing for the soul and spirit.
Enjoy the lush greenery, while walking between native, regional, subtropical, and tropical fruit trees and ornamental plants, and absorb the harmonious and inspiring energy of the place.
Stop at the natural pond with its aquatic plants and notice the insect hotel that offers housing for a variety of beneficial insects living in our gardens.
Contemplate the various green roofs that are pleasing for the eyes, maximize our green landscape, and improve the indoor climate of the below abodes and dens.
Select from an assortment of plants in our nursery, all offspring of the plants growing in our gardens.
Visit the large variety of cacti and succulents, and marvel at the collection of orchids hanging from metal tree-like structures located under the viewing platform at the foot of a large pine tree in summer. We move them into the greenhouse in winter.
